his is in reference to our previous mail pertaining to the migration of some hosting orders from Dallas DataCenter to our new DataCenter at Austin, which will take place on 15th February, 2014, 12: 00 PM GMT to 16th February, 2014, 4: 00 AM GMT.
This is one of the steps in our plan to upgrade infrastructure and we are aiming at future proofing which shall be beneficial in the long run.
Impact on your Mail.pw packages:
Outgoing email services will remain fuctional using a failsafe server we are installing specially for the purpose of this migration. All incoming emails during the period of migration will be saved in our servers and will be accessible once the move is successfully complete
During the downtime period, webmail will not be functional but you can send mails using any desktop client. However, the sent items will not be synced with webmail for the mails that were sent during the downtime.
We will be taking care of all DNS changes from our end. However, if you are using IP addresses to connect to any of our mail services then please get in touch with our support team for the new IPs.
