Are niche marketplaces quietly beating the giants at their own game?

Motorcycle-specific platforms like MotoSeeker are winning on rider-specific filters and free verified listings — while general marketplaces bank on sheer volume. Worth a discussion.
    • Do you trust a human-reviewed listing more than an algorithm-verified one?
    • Is free-but-smaller better than paid-but-m***ive when you're actually shopping?
    • Does auction-style buying (eBay Motors) still make sense for everyday riders, or is it just for rare finds?
    • Would you ever buy a bike sight-unseen from a national platform, or is local/in-person non-negotiable for you?

Niche marketplaces can definitely have an edge because better filters and more relevant listings save riders time. For something as personal and high-value as a motorcycle, though, I’d still want to verify the bike in person before buying.
