    In our shop, we always run a sample sew-out before production because software previews don't reveal every issue. We've found that paying more for quality digitizing saves money overall by reducing thread breaks, fabric puckering, machine downtime, and costly rework on larger orders.

      A quality sew-out is still the best test. Software previews help, but nothing replaces seeing how the design performs on the actual fabric and machine.

        In my experience, the cheapest digitizing is rarely the most cost-effective. A test sew-out on the actual fabric quickly reveals issues like excessive density, poor underlay, or incorrect pathing. Spending a little more on quality digitizing usually reduces thread breaks, rework, and machine downtime, making production smoother and more consistent over the long term.
