Could AI Become the Next Everyday Presence in Our Living Rooms?

AI is gradually moving from computers and phones into more natural, home-based experiences. OpenAI’s latest developments raise interesting questions about how people may interact with AI in their everyday environments.
    • Would you actually use an AI ***istant regularly in your living room? Why or why not?
    • What types of tasks would make a home-based AI genuinely useful?
    • Do you think people will prefer voice and ambient AI over traditional screens and apps?
    • What privacy or control concerns should companies address as AI becomes more present at home?

What’s your take on the future of AI in the living room? Share your thoughts and experiences.

I think home-based AI could be useful for simple everyday tasks like controlling devices, managing schedules, answering questions, and setting reminders. However, privacy and user control will be essential if these systems are constantly listening or observing.

I’d definitely use an AI ***istant at home for practical tasks like controlling smart devices, setting reminders, managing schedules, finding information, and helping with entertainment. Voice-based interaction could feel more natural than constantly using a screen. However, privacy, data collection, and control over when the AI is listening would be important concerns.
