    What is Encryption and Decryption

Encryption is to encode the data in such a way that it cannot be understood by a human reader. Encryption is generally done to sen some confidential information from one node to another node.
Decryption is vice versa of encryption that is to decode the text into human readable form.

    Use of Encryption and Decryption

Both the schemes will use to secure the information or data that travel from one network to other so unauthorized person can access that information.

Encryption is the process of translating plain text data into something that appears to be random and meaningless.
Decryption is the process of converting ciphertext back to plaintext. To encrypt more than a small amount of data, symmetric encryption is used.

Encryption is the conversion of data into a form, called a cipher, that cannot be understood by unauthorized people. Decryption is the process of converting encrypted data back into its original form, so it can be understood. Some such devices are intended for half-duplex operation and others are designed for full-duplex operation.
