Pretty older thread it is but about relevancy and my discussion topic i.e Ecommerce website having Prestashop platform is same. So, I'm continuing with this thread rather than creating new thread for the same.

Well having prestashop CMS for eCommerce website is good decision to make your online shop sell. Everybody knows that eCommerce is just about retail not a rocket science but for a merchant there should be a clear understanding of main goals of the online web portal.
Is here anyone who agreed with the same or having some different opinions?

Ranking ecommerce sites and Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs) involves several factors, including website optimization, content quality, user experience, and backlink profile. Here's a general guide to help you understand the process:
      1. Keyword Research: Identify relevant keywords related to your ecommerce niche. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to find keywords with high search volume and low competition.
      2. On-Page Optimization: Optimize your ecommerce site's pages for the chosen keywords. This includes optimizing meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, and image alt tags. Ensure your product descriptions are unique, informative, and keyword-rich.
      3. Site Speed and Mobile Optimization: Google prioritizes sites that load quickly and provide a good user experience, especially on mobile devices. Optimize your site's speed and ensure it's mobile-friendly.
      4. Quality Content: Create high-quality, relevant content that adds value to your target audience. This could include blog posts, buying guides, product reviews, and instructional videos. Engaging content can help attract organic traffic and improve your site's authority.
      5. Backlink Building: Acquire backlinks from reputable websites within your industry. High-quality backlinks from authoritative sites can improve your site's credibility and visibility in SERPs. Focus on natural link-building tactics such as guest posting, influencer outreach, and content promotion.
      6. User Experience (UX): Provide a seamless and intuitive user experience on your ecommerce site. This includes easy navigation, clear calls-to-action, secure payment options, and an efficient checkout process. Positive user experiences can lead to higher conversion rates and repeat business.
      7. Schema Markup: Implement schema markup to provide search engines with structured data about your products, such as price, availability, and reviews. This can enhance your listings in SERPs and improve click-through rates.
      8. Local SEO: If you have a physical location or serve specific geographic areas, optimize your site for local search. This includes creating local business listings, optimizing Google My Business profile, and encouraging customer reviews.
      9. Monitor and Analyze: Regularly monitor your site's performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics. Analyze the data to identify areas for improvement and adjust your strategy accordingly.
      10. Adaptation and Updates: Stay informed about changes to search engine algorithms and ecommerce trends. Continuously update your SEO strategy to remain competitive and ensure long-term success in ranking ecommerce sites and SERPs.
