what you think Google+ Communities can replace forums concept or not ?

Google+ is awesome, the User experiences great,And the way they have opened it up to allow users to engage with each other more is great. There is no doubt that Google+ does go beyond being just a social network at Google.Google+ Communities really rocks in present days. A place that allow you to collaborate with others on topics you’re interested in. These communities have made Google+ more engaging and definitely a great place for start-ups. It allows you to make new friends as well as have the possibility of generating more traffic to your own social media pages. Personally I see a lot of prospective here.
But they can not replace forums concept. Forums have their own places.

Google Plus Communities is an excellent way to bring like-minded people together, and in fact, we can imagine these communities being able to take the place of forums.
