Please help with falling link popularity

Hello,

My website's link popularity has fallen dramatically and I'm not sure why.

I'm using a software package called IBP by Axandra which is a SEO software package and the first month I used it my link popularity jumped up by about 40%, but the second month I used it to submit my site, the link popularity has dropped drastically (by about 50%).

I have not changed my link exchange strategy but I have been using the IBP recommendations for site optimization.

Has anyone else used IBP? Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do to correct it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should go for theme based links as those will be helpful for your site optimizatiom and I don't think any software can do any good for you.

I will say that i am not in side of SEO softwares.... i will advice that go for theme based links only........make sure that you are listed on popular free directories

Google is well aware of such kind of softwares and link farms. This is the main reason for fall in your link popularity. If you give me domain name I can advice more...
