How long does it take to get PageRank?

I'm just wondering, how long does it take to get PageRank and how can we get a higher PageRank?

I don't agree with Asero its not all about luck.
But you have to use your all SEO experience.
You have to apply all the rules of SEO and then you have to wait for PR updates
you will definitely get good page rank from google.

Well 2 to 4 months are the range to get PR. As long as you get quality links that is indexed by google you'll get PR.

I though PR of a site depend on various factors, like quality of the content of the site and the no of backlinks etc
