when search engine add your data in to the their index then you can say it is indexing and when google product like robot they can visit your website and taking snapshot then it is crawling.

The journey of a query starts before you ever type a search, with crawling and indexing the web of trillions of documents.

@orangedmcompany You have given nice answer for this question. Crawling and indexing both are two general SEO terms. Indexing is when a page gets into search engines, and crawling is the stage when the page gets fetched.

"Indexed" and "crawling" are terminologies commonly ***ociated with search engines and web content. Here's what they mean:

Indexed: When a search engine indexes a web page, it means that the page's content has been analyzed and added to the search engine's database. This enables the search engine to quickly retrieve and display relevant pages when users perform searches. Indexing involves various factors such as keywords, metadata, and the overall content of the page.

Crawling: Crawling is the process by which search engines discover new and updated content on the web. Search engine bots, also known as crawlers or spiders, continuously browse the internet by following links from one page to another. When they encounter a new page, they analyze its content and index it if it's deemed relevant and suitable for inclusion in the search engine's database.
