I don't agree with Asero its not all about luck.
But you have to use your all SEO experience.
You have to apply all the rules of SEO and then you have to wait for PR updates
you will definitely get good page rank from google.

Well 2 to 4 months are the range to get PR. As long as you get quality links that is indexed by google you'll get PR.

I though PR of a site depend on various factors, like quality of the content of the site and the no of backlinks etc

It's estimated that Google updates PageRank every 3 months. Obviously, it's never going to be an exact time or everybody would know when to look out for it.

Just keep working on your site and you'll get your PageRank when you deserve it!

it is usually 3 months but these past months google is like haing some delays on it...

anyways the minimum period for having your PR is 3 months but that depends on how many links your site was able to acquire in that period...
