Acc. to my exp. it really difficult for a new website to gain PR of 5. Even PR is not so important criteria in search engines except google.

Hi,

Ur site need not be pr5 or above. The value of pagerank of the google toolbar is no more valid. If u can concentrate on ur keywords, content and navigation, that is more than enuf to compete against ur competitor sites. So concentrate more on what, how easy shud ur site be for the search engines to crawl and give importance. Try to research where you stand in ur niche competition and that will give u a good insight of wat changes shud u make to work ur strategy well. Try to get a pretty site which is informative, n which jus makes the visitors to feel like they ve met their like mindeds.
