suppose web site name is xyz

xyz.com/seo/search-engine/optimization/tips-tricks/best-seo-policies-for-ranking.htm

keywords in your

title tag
meta tags --keyword and description
header tags
links on your site
alt tags
content **

and density of keywords in content which is meaningful. will help you get some good searchengine ranking

you need to have some good relevant content

then your backward links, competition and age of site count.

all these procedure are not one time thing you need to update your pages regularly optimize your site.


keyword stuffing is not a good thing

select 2-3 keyword for one page
keywords option for different pages
page 1 ->seo optimization tips
page 2 ->search engine ranking
page 3 ->onpage optimization

so above 3 pagees for similar topic but different keywords for each page

now selecting your keyword is again a trick

which keyword you should target?

for 'search engine optimization' you will see 1000's of keywords string or combinations
