When to publish articles to article directories

Hello to all

Actually I'm in the process of having 50+ articles created for my website. Each article will focus on a different keyword and will become a new page on my site.

After I add these articles to my site, I would like to publish these articles to various article directories and wondered how long I should wait to do so.

I mainly don't want the search engines to think I copied the new content from article directories and get penalized for it.

Please advise

To be on the safe side you will probably want to wait until after the pages are indexed and then probably only submit reworded versions of the articles.
